Sonya Redmond-Head is the ITM’s Career Award Program Administrator. She has been with the ITM for more than six years, and she oversees three of the ITM’s funding mechanisms—Career Development (K) Awards, Pilot Awards, and Short-Term Pilot Awards for residents—to ensure researchers get the funding they need to conduct innovative research.

Redmond-Head also manages the administrative process for the Clinical Research Center (CRC). Prior to joining the ITM team, Redmond-Head lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she worked for a consulting firm hired to help recruit U.S. Department of Homeland Security TSA Agents.
