Short-Term Pilot Awards are for post-doctoral clinician-scientists in training at ITM institutes, such as residents, fellows and other trainees whose mentors do not have financial support for the specific projects the applicants are trying to undertake.

The ITM has awarded more than $117,000 in Short-Term Pilot Awards since 2007 to more than 18 post-doctoral clinician-scientists.

Applicants must provide information on why a mentor is unable to provide financial support for the project.

Successful applicants are expected to be at the University of Chicago to complete their awarded project.

Applications are being accepted from October 1 to October 31. Click here to learn more!
