The Association for Clinical and Translational Science honored ITM-UChicago researcher Stacy Lindau, MD, MAPP, with its 2022 Award for Addressing Health Equity Through Partnership and Innovation.

Lindau, the Catherine Lindsay Dobson Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, has demonstrated her commitment to community by starting MAPSCorps, a nonprofit organization that trains high school students as data scientists who then map local businesses in order to boost that local economy. MAPSCorps has mapped over 25,000 businesses and organizations in Chicago and New York City.

Lindau was nominated for the award by Doriane Miller, MD, ITM’s Director for Health Equity Integration.
