A National Institutes of Health (NIH) program has appointed an ITM leader to its new National Taskforce on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Doriane Miller, MD, ITM’s Director for Health Equity Integration, will serve with 13 national leaders from the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program. The taskforce will help develop aims and set inclusion-focused goals and metrics that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the CTSA consortium, which includes more than 50 institutions like the ITM across the country.

The CTSA Program is a part of the ITM’s parent organization, the National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences.
