The Institute for Translational Medicine (ITM) recently launched a health research accelerator made up of a dream team of local universities and health care, government, and community organizations thanks to nearly $35 million from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The ITM will help improve the health of Chicagoans by bringing research discoveries into the real world as soon as possible. Watch the story from WGN, who featured the launch on the evening news.
“If we work together, we can do things faster, better, and more efficiently so that patients benefit,” said Sara Serritella, director of communications at the ITM.
