NPR featured Dr. Lainie Ross, an ITM Investigator and former ITM Co-Director, on a segment about the widening frontier of human organ transplants and the consequential ethical considerations.

“When we talk about whether this will become mainstream, the real answer for that is if we can develop some way of developing tolerance for these foreign bodies that, in a sense, become part of us,” Ross said.
