The Institute for Translational Medicine (ITM) is excited to announce a new Designing for Implementation & Sustainability Certificate Program, spearheaded by ITM-Loyola in partnership with the Colorado Clinical & Translational Sciences Institute. The program will kick off in Fall 2026 and is free to enroll in once accepted.
This immersive, bootcamp-style program is designed for health science researchers and healthcare and public health professionals who want to move beyond discovery and ensure their work creates meaningful, real-world impact. Through a combination of academic rigor and hands-on application, participants will gain practical strategies to successfully implement and sustain innovations across diverse settings.
Twenty-five participants from Illinois, New York, Texas, Arizona and beyond are now enrolled in a pilot version of the certificate program.
“The class gets an A for orienting me toward implementation thinking and stakeholder engagement,” said one participant.
The curriculum follows a translational science approach, equipping participants with tools to bridge the gap between research and practice.
