Transforming the Way Researchers Share Data – Lessons from the Pediatric Cancer Data Commons

Join us for a virtual childhood cancer lecture presented by UChicago Medicine’s Samuel Volchenboum, MD, PhD. Dr. Volchenboum, Associate Professor of Pediatrics and leader of the ITM Informatics Core, will discuss how the Pediatric Cancer Data Commons at the University of Chicago is uniting researchers around the world to improve collection of data from children with cancer, with the goal of transforming pediatric cancer research. The event, sponsored by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, is free to the public.
