Calling all clinicians looking to improve their wellbeing and learn about initiatives to fight burnout in the medical field! Don’t miss a virtual ITM Grand Rounds featuring Ami N. Shah, MD, Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at RUSH University. Dr. Shah will discuss “Beyond Burnout: Evidence-Based Coaching to Transform the Culture of Medicine.” Coaching is increasingly recognized as a practical and scalable strategy to improve clinician well-being, strengthen leadership capacity, and counter toxic cultural norms in medicine. Dr. Shah will share findings from multiple randomized trials across trainees and faculty and describe how coaching initiatives can catalyze system-level culture change. Special attention will be given to interventions for women residents, who have demonstrated significant improvements in burnout, flourishing, and impostor syndrome.
