Info Session: NIAID/NHLBI Innovator to Entrepreneur Program

Calling all aspiring entrepreneurs! Get comprehensive training that covers the key elements of company launch, business strategy development, startup financing, and more through the Innovator to Entrepreneur Program (ITEP) from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), in association with the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). This program is administered by Foresight Science & Technology and will start accepting applications on May 14, 11am CT for the summer 2026 cohort.

If accepted, you’ll attend live training webinars starting June 2026. The curriculum will cover topics necessary to understand the processes of business creation, operation, financing and technology commercialization and will assist in deep understanding of mall business innovation research (SBIR)/small business technology transfer (STTR) grantsmanship.
