Harvard Catalyst: Boundary-Crossing Skills for Research Careers

Join Harvard Catalyst, Harvard University’s Clinical and Translational Science Center, for the FREE new webinar series, Boundary-Crossing Skills for Research Careers, open to translational researchers and research staff at any career stage.

This ongoing series explores approaches to developing skills in “boundary crossing” by addressing common topics and themes such as building a diverse team, managing your time and projects, resolving conflict, communicating your science, and more. Participants are welcome to join as many or few sessions as they want.

The November 29 session will focus on Navigating Mentorship and will aim to:

  • Identify avenues for seeking mentorship that are appropriate for your department, institution, and field.
  • Describe the benefits of creating short-, medium- and long-term goals for your mentor relationship.
  • Integrate strategies (both for in-person and remote meetings) for facilitating the mentor/mentee relationship from the mentee perspective.
