Cures Within Reach: Get Up To $100K For Your Ongoing Research

Calling all ITM researchers! Cures Within Reach is seeking repurposed treatments from Chicagoland researchers in the following areas: Health Equity, including women’s health, Early Stage Investigators, Pediatrics and/or Veterans/Military.

Budgets of up to $100,000 are accepted. Submit your Letter of Intent (LOI) by April 18, 2025. Eligible Chicago area clinical repurposing trials can apply to one or more of the following tracks:

1 Health Equity: 1) led by any researcher addressing health disparities, including women’s health, among underrepresented patients OR 2) led by an underrepresented researcher OR both 1) and 2)

2 Early Stage Investigator: led by a researcher within 10 years of completing an advanced degree or medical residency in any disease area

3 Pediatrics: addressing any unmet pediatric medical needs; includes adding a pediatric arm to an adult clinical repurposing trial

4 Veterans / Military: addressing any unmet medical needs of US veterans / active military, including mental health and traumatic brain injuries
