Chicago Innovation Fund Calls for Spring 2016 Applications

The University of Chicago Innovation Fund is a $20 million fund that invests in early business development and proof-of-concept work for projects/ventures created by faculty, students, and staff to help them to bridge the gap between basic research funding and commercial investment.

ITM investigators with funding include:

Richard P. Kraig, MD, PhD, William D. Mabie Professor in the Neurosciences, Director, Migraine Headache Clinic, University of Chicago – Therapeutic Human Exosomes.
John Ancsin, M.S., Ph.D. – Peptides for the Stimulation of Lipase to Treat Hypertriglyceridemia: Companion Assay for Clinical Assessment
Alex Langerman, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery – ExplORer Surgical Information System
Peter O’Donnell, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Mark Ratain, MD, Professor of Medicine – Genomic Prescribing System
Maryellen L. Giger, PhD, A.N. Pritzker Professor of Radiology – Quantitative Insights
