Learn how to harness a new library of COVID-19 patient data to accelerate your research at a virtual open house from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) starting Jan. 19.
The Institute for Translational Medicine’s (ITM) parent organization, NIH’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), launched the National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic using data gathered from clinical centers across the nation. The initiative maintains a database of more than 2.6 million patient records that you can harness to advance your work fighting the virus.
N3C is available to all ITM institutions at no cost thanks to the NIH’s Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program, of which the ITM is a member.
Questions? Connect with Suzi Birz, ITM Informatics Cluster Manager, at sbirz@bsd.uchicago.edu to learn how to get involved from your institution.
