Join us for UChicago Innovation Fest 2017 this May! This month-long celebration of entrepreneurship, science, and discovery around the University of Chicago includes more than 40 events across campus, Chicagoland, and in key cities around the world.
UChicago has a strong innovation pipeline fueled by translational research and commercialization resources, which lead to the unique applications based on scientifically-proven concepts that Innovation Fest celebrates each year.
“Groundbreaking research needs to live beyond the lab and be applied to medical, commercial, and business applications in order to improve people’s lives,” said Susan Cohn, MD, Co-Director of the University of Chicago Institute for Translational Medicine (ITM) and Dean for Clinical Research. “Innovation Fest celebrates these discoveries and shares them with the world so that everyone can benefit.”
This annual festival is led by UChicago’s top leaders in innovation, including the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Institute for Translational Medicine (ITM), the Social Enterprise Initiative at Chicago Booth, and UChicago Research, Innovation and National Laboratories.
#InnoFest has something for everyone, with presentations, workshops, seminars, screenings, and networking events. You can explore solutions to big problems, brainstorm ways to scale impact, and connect with leaders in business, science, healthcare, tech, and more.
