Don’t miss ITM-Loyola’s seminar series all about using implementation science to improve health outcomes! Join virtually on Zoom to hear Melissa Braganza, Acting Director, VA Health Systems Research, Director, VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QUERI), present on “Moving Research into Clinical Practice and Policy in a Large Integrated Health System: The VA QUERI Program.” This seminar will highlight how research can be effectively translated into real-world clinical practice and policy within large, complex health systems. Drawing on the work of the VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiative, this session will explore strategies to scale, spread, and sustain evidence-based programs that improve care for Veterans and their caregivers.

Melissa Braganza leads QUERI, a national program within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs that supports more than 400 investigators and staff across the country. Her work focuses on advancing implementation science by partnering with health system leaders, providers, and Veterans to accelerate the adoption of effective programs and policies across the VA healthcare system.
