Join Harvard Catalyst, Harvard University’s Clinical and Translational Science Center, for the FREE new webinar series, Boundary-Crossing Skills for Research Careers, open to translational researchers and research staff at any career stage.
This ongoing series explores approaches to developing skills in “boundary crossing” by addressing common topics and themes such as building a diverse team, managing your time and projects, resolving conflict, communicating your science, and more. Participants are welcome to join as many or few sessions as they want.
The December sessions will focus on Understanding Team Dynamics & Communication Styles and will aim to:
- Identify the challenges and opportunities of working on a diverse team with an emphasis on remote/hybrid teams.
- Recognize how personality traits and communication style influence team dynamics.
- Understand how your own personality traits and communication style influences how you interact with your team.
- Develop strategies to navigate communication challenges within diverse teams with an emphasis on remote/hybrid teams.
