DEADLINE: Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Contract Solicitation
October 23 @ 4:00 pm
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is a government set-aside program for U.S. small businesses and research organizations to engage in research and development that has the potential for commercialization and public benefit. Secure up to $1 million for your translational work.
Administered by the ITM’s parent organization, the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), the SBIR program helps new treatments and cures get delivered to patients more efficiently. This program serves as an engine of innovation, offering grants, contracts, and technical assistance to small businesses and research organizations focused on advancing translational research and technologies that will improve disease prevention, detection, and treatment.
NCATS is soliciting applications for the 2020 SBIR contract solicitation. The topic is “Alternatives to commercially available cell culture insert membranes and manufacturing techniques.”
