DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss ITM-Loyola’s seminar series all about using implementation science to improve health outcomes! Join virtually on Zoom to hear from Mehul Sheth, DO, Health Informatics Medical Director, Service Area #1 – Illinois, Indiana, Health Informatics and Analytics – Trinity Health. Dr. Sheth will present on “An evidence based repeatable approach to EMR proficiency.”\nDr. Sheth is medical director for health informatics for Trinity Health based at Loyola, joining in 2023. He has been working in clinical informatics full-time for over 13 years. During that time he has worked directly for health systems (Trinity and Adventist Health West) as well as EMR vendors (Cerner and Allscripts) to ensure maximizing the value of the electronic health records. He has been part of dozens of go-lives in various roles as well as EHR optimization projects at numerous institutions. At Loyola he is facilitating an Epic to Epic conversion to ensure minimal disruption and maximal use of the new Epic platform.\n
